This is a little different view of Castle Hill. I think this one emphasizes how tall it looks when you’re at the bottom, perhaps preparing to run up it.
I read somewhere that it is 997 feet high, just 3 feet short of the 1,000 feet needed to be considered a ‘mountain’. In this picture you can barely make out the white graffiti/painting called “The Saint”. Click the pic for a better look at this icon of Townsville.
